3 Days of Exciting Events – FREE to Rally Participants and to the Public to join!

Texas Country Air 2024 is an urban camping experience like no other. Gather with like-minded enthusiasts who love Airstream adventures for a FREE Rally. Experience seminars, demonstrations, tours, live entertainment and much more. Our hope is that the local Quanah and surrounding communities will join Airstream owners from all around the nation for a weekend together – FREE and open to the public.

All events and weekend activites are sponsored by:
Quanah Chamber of Commerce, Quanah Economic Development Corporation, City of Quanah, and Hardeman County.

Dinners are available each night of the rally, provided and prepared by local organizations for purchase or by donation.
Thursday night – Quanah Band Boosters (Served at the Ole Time Annual Harvest Festival)
Friday night – Hardeman County 4H (Served in the Ballroom before the Live Entertainment)
Saturday night – Pease River Cowboy Church (PRCC) (Served in the High School Dome before the Live Entertainment)

1pm
Guests arrive at Roadside Park to caravan in to park around Square and streets of Quanah.

First come – first parked. Local community invited to celebrate the incoming guests upon their arrival and caravans into town along Hwy 287 and turning on Highway 6/Main Street arriving into the downtown square and surrounding streets.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES BEGIN….all Rally participants and Local Community are invited and encouraged to paricipate in ALL events throughout the weekend.

4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Local Community Trunk-or-Treat (Mercer Street between 3rd-5th street)

5:30 PM – 8 PM
Quanah Chamber of Commerce – Ole Time First Annual Harvest Festival, sponsored by Quanah Chamber of Commerce (all activities located in Security Bank parking lot.)
Games for all Ages, Cake Walk, Fun, and More! Help raise funds for our local non-profits and organizations with your participation.
Dinner will be provided for purchase from Quanah Band boosters. Taco Plate with 3 Tacos, beans, chips and a drink for $10.00, Chamber will have a cake walk and Bake Sale. Concessions will be open to local community as well. Stay and watch Hocus Pocus.

9 AM – Ballroom, Quanah, Texas
Welcoming Ceremony led by the City Mayor and County Judge followed by a performance from the Quanah Elementary School Patriotic Show. (BIG HIT!!!)

1 PM – Courthouse Square, Quanah, Texas
LIVE Demonstration by the T.L. Roach Prison Tracking dogs (MOST POPULAR and HIGHLY ATTENDED seminar)

9 AM – Ballroom, Quanah, Texas
Seminar – The history of the Medicine Mounds area presented by local Historian Emily Wall Stone.

10 AM – Medicine Mound, Texas
Caravan to the Ghost town of Medicine Mound for a guided walking tour of the town and the Medicine Mounds Museum. Medicine Mound is listed as one of the top Ghost Towns in the U.S.A.

1 PM – Methodist Church, Quanah
BINGO at the Methodist Church in Quanah, a local FAVORTITE (Open to Rally participants ONLY). Win incredible prizes and grab a delicious homemade dessert!

7 PM – High School Auditorium
LIVE Entertainment by Tommy Hooker and The National Swing Band of Texas (FREE to Attend!!! for Rally participants and Community guests).A 21 piece Big Band featuring selections from Bob Wills, Ray Price,, Gretchen Wilson,  from Western swing to Traditional Country!  Dinner will be available for purchase in the High School Dome across the street from the High School Auditorium starting at 5:30 pm. Pease River Cowboy church will be cooking BBQ Plate with all the trimming to include drink and dessert for $15.00
